Hingham Senior Center

Elder Services provides programs, services, activities and transportation for all residents 60 years of age and older and serves as a resource for information to families, friends and neighbors who may find themselves caring for an older person. In the past, members of the parish prepared lunch for the senior citizens at the Council on Aging on an annual basis.  It would be terrific to re-start this event.  Volunteers are asked to cook and serve the meal.  The Community Service Group of 5th grade children from Plymouth River School often assisted in serving lunch.  What a time of food, fellowship and fun!  Currently, the parish supports the Senior Center with a monetary donation.

Our parish liaison is Leah Godfrey.
