Special Food Assistance Program
In response to the government shutdown, federal workers not getting paid and the likelihood that SNAP benefits will be temporarily delayed, St. John's is supporting a "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" initiative in partnership with members of the greater Hingham community. This is a non-denominational, grassroots effort to help those affected to continue to have access to food for their families. In order to do this, St. John's is collecting donations from members of the community to be given directly to those in need.
100% of all donations will go to those who are food insecure.
This effort is to help supplement the amazing work already being done in our community by the Hingham Food Pantry, Interfaith Social Services, Hingham Farmer's Market, Wellspring, Q-CAP, and Weymouth Food Pantry (and many others) to try to help as many people as possible.
Please use this button to donate - select “Give to Food Assistance” in the dropdown. All monies raised from this link will go to this program.
