We believe that true welcome isn’t a one-time greeting for newcomers—it's a way of life together. The Welcome Ministry creates opportunities for our whole church family, longtime members and newcomers alike, to connect, build real friendships, deepen their faith, and grow in community. Through shared meals, events, and everyday moments, we're practicing hospitality with one another, every single week.

We’re so glad you’re here, and we look forward to connecting with you and helping you connect with us! St. John’s is a vibrant, intergenerational, service-oriented parish bound by shared faith in Jesus Christ, who calls us to love God with all our hearts, souls, and minds, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. 

Worship in the Episcopal tradition anchors our common life. We nurture disciples of all ages through our Sunday School, youth group, intergenerational choral programs, and adult formation classes. St. John’s proudly hosts various outreach ministries such as Free., BSafe, Laundry Love, and Appalachian Service Project.

The Good News of the Gospel incites joy—and we share our joy with neighbors through special events including our Not-So-Spooky Haunted House, Holiday Boutique, pancake supper, and Summerfest.
