Hingham Interfaith & Friends Mother's Day Walk for Peace. St. John's has partnered with several other local houses of worship to create a team to walk and raise funds for the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute's Mother's Day Walk on Sunday, May 12. Started in 1996 so mothers of murdered children could receive support from their neighbors, the Mother's Day Walk continues to be a powerful way to honor those killed and embrace partners in peacemaking. The Institute is a center of healing, teaching, and learning for communities impacted by murder, grief, trauma, and loss.  Grab a friend at St. John's or in the community and register to walk that morning or make a donation at https://tinyurl.com/yxe9xxxq. There is no requirement to fund-raise if you wish to walk but please register and select Hingham Interfaith & Friends as your team. We will start our walk at the Town Field, Dorchester location.
