In what has become an annual tradition, parishioners of St. John’s celebrated Pentecost and the end of the program year with SummerFest Sunday afternoon. The eucharistic feast of “Mass on the Grass” was followed by a secular feast including SmokeyStax BBQ, the Wellspring food truck, Doctor’s Island Brewing, and Nona’s Ice Cream. Chowderfest delighted the palate with four sensational entries, and the One Dime Band entertained the substantial crowd. Parishioners also got to meet incoming curate Eva Dalzell. Thank you to all who contributed, particularly Rob Hess who led the effort.
