St. John’s welcomes Chloe Manning as Parish Administrator

Chloe Manning will be joining St. John’s on November 12 as our new Parish Administrator.

Chloe grew up in West Hartford, Conn., and has a B.A. in Biology from the University of Vermont. After having her first son Elijah in 2008, she took a job as an administrative assistant for a small architectural firm in Quincy. She worked there for 15 years, eventually becoming Operations Manager.

Chloe lives in Quincy with her husband Anthony, 3 sons, Elijah, Julian and Dexter and dog, Stevie. In her free time, she enjoys baking, cooking, reading, vegetable gardening and hiking with her family.

From The Rector

I am delighted that Chloe will be joining us this month, and that she will be sharing her incredible gifts and skills in administration and operations management with our community. As well as being an experienced administrator and manager, Chloe also has a wide range of interests including environmental education and community outreach. Given how much the role of Parish Administrator involves connecting with all aspects of our community and beyond, and providing a pastoral as well as professional presence, Chloe is going to be an invaluable and joyful member of our team. I am thrilled that she is joining us!

Chloe will be in the Parish Office next Wednesday, Nov. 12. As she comes on board, please do stop by to welcome her, but let us also allow her some space to settle in and get set up! In the next few weeks, our Parish Staff will also be introducing some new systems and protocols, such as appointment bookings and revised office hours, so that Chloe, our Parish Accountant Amsale Faye and our whole Staff team can establish some new routines and especially at such a busy time of year as we serve our wider community.

Please join me in congratulating and welcoming Chloe and her family to St. John’s, and please pray for her. There will be various opportunities to welcome and celebrate her this month!
